Tabernacle Church of God in Christ is committed to using the entire spectrum of media to promote and spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We believe that Tabernacle Church of God in Christ is not an isolated entity, but an important part of the community it serves. The Church publication provides information to the church family and to the community at large. We believe that an informed membership is more supportive and involved in the work of the Church. A key responsibility of the Church is to keep the Local and City Government of Kalamazoo current on all the benefits and services available at Tabernacle Church of God in Christ. We believe that the local church is a body of believers and part of the Universal Church of Christ. The local church is a microcosm of the family relationship: People Caring for One Another, Sharing Joys, Sorrows, Problems, and Working together for Mutual Comfort and Benefits. Tabernacle Church of God in Christ has established the various support groups whose primary focus is to care for the concerns within the Church Family itself. Music Department |

We believe that religious music is an integral part of the worship service. It is not an entertainment or diversion, but a ministry through which the gospel message is enhanced and expressed. Choirs, Vocal and Instrumental Ensembles, embraces all age groups within the church and render all types of sacred music including but not limited to Gospel, Anthems and Hymns to name a few. The music department provides opportunities for creative self-expression while at the same time providing a vital ministry in all our worship services through the following: •Praise and Worship Leaders
